Iowa has to feel good about their star player as she earns the Player of the Week honor for a second time this season for Iowa. Gustafson has averaged 26.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game with a .742 field goal percentage. She has also scored double-double for Iowa’s two games last week.

In the Big Ten/ACC challenge, she scored a career-high 34 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. They lost to Florida State, but Gustafson’s elite level of play kept them in the game for a long time. This will be her third career player of the week honor.

The Big Ten Freshman of the Week belongs to Nebraska center Kate Cain. She registered 13.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.5 blocks in the Huskers’ games last week. She also achieved a .647 field goal percentage and achieved a double double as well. In their Big Ten/ACC challenge against Clemson, she scored 11 points, eight rebounds, and a career-high six blocks. This will be her second career Freshman of the week honors.

Maryland’s Kaila Charles, Rutgers’ Tyler Scaife, and Wisconsin’s Marsha Howard earns spots on the Big Ten Honor Roll.
