Seven Pac-12 programs received an NCAA tournament bid last season. While that number may be a bit of an outlier, it isn’t too far off the current trend: at least five Pac-12 programs have made the tournament in each of the last four seasons.
Stanford is coming off its 13th Final Four appearance last season. Oregon made its first Elite 8 appearance in program history and returns all five starters. UCLA, Oregon State and Washington also made it to the Sweet 16. Three Pac-12 teams appeared in the WNIT; Washington State, in particular, will look to build upon its semifinal WNIT appearance.
