Joining Gray as an unanimous selection to the All-Rookie team were San Antonio Stars guard Kelsey Plum and Atlanta Dream guard Brittney Sykes. Also making the team with seven of a possible 11 votes each were Wings guard Kaela Davis and  Washington Mystics guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough.

Gray and Davis become the second pair of teammates in the past three seasons to be named to

the All-Rookie team, joining New York Liberty guard Brittany Boyd and forward Kiah Stokes.

The first overall pick in the 2017 WNBA draft, Plum pushes the streak of number picks making the All-Rookie team to 12 straight years. The only time that the number one overall pick failed to make the All-Rookie team was back in 2005 when Janel McCarville missed the team.

Sykes became the first member of the Dream to make the All-Rookie team since 2013 when Alex Bentley made it, and Walker-Kimbrough is the first Mystic to earn the honor since 2014 and Bria Hartley got the nod.
