The Summitt WNBA Daily Fantasy Sports Report: 8/26/2017

There are two games on the schedule for Saturday. The first game pits the Fever at the Dream at 6:00 PM ET. The later game is the Wings at the Mystics at 7:00 PM ET. Please find the preview information for these games here. Here are the best value plays for both FanDuel and DraftKings WNBA games.

Guard

Skylar Diggins-Smith, DAL at WAS ($7700 in FanDuel, $12,500 in DraftKings): Diggins-Smith is the highest priced guard on the board, but she’s also clearly the best bet to put a big number on the board. And on a day when there aren’t many dominant frontcourt options, Diggins-Smith becomes more potentially valuable.

Erica Wheeler, IND at ATL ($4600 FD, $7700 DK): Wheeler, like the next guard on our list, is getting increased opportunity with three Fever guards out with injury. She is solid-but-unspectacular, coming off a game of 10 points, five assists, three boards and three steals. In FanDuel, she has a good price for her estimated value.

Jeanette Pohlen-Mavunga, IND at ATL ($3800 FD, $4000): Pohlen-Mavunga has also been getting more meaningful minutes due to injuries to the backcourt. She had a terrible game in a 49-point blowout loss to the Lynx last week, but other than that has been solid to the tune of 11.7 points and 4.0 combined rebounds/assists in her last three non-Minnesota games. She’s a risk, but her price tag (especially in the DraftKings system) is tempting.
