The Summitt WNBA Daily Fantasy Sports Report: 8/11/17

There are two games on the schedule for Friday. The first game pits the Liberty at the Dream at 7:30 PM ET. The Sparks are at the Lynx in a battle of champions at 8:00 PM ET. Please find the preview information for these games here. Here are the best value plays for both FanDuel and DraftKings WNBA games.

Guard

Seimone Augustus, MIN vs LA ($5000 in FanDuel, $6900 in DraftKings): Augustus is the primary backcourt threat for the Lynx with Lindsay Whalen out. She is up-and-down in her production, as evidenced by her last five games played (scoring in FanDuel points): 13.7, 26.8, 34.8, 14.1, 22.7 fantasy points. However, the upside to score in the upper 20s/low 30s with some regularity at a relatively low price point makes Augustus a solid option on a day when there really isn’t a lot of front end backcourt production available.

Shavonte Zellous, NY at ATL ($4600 FD, $7100 DK): Zellous has averaged 11 points, 5.3 boards, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals in her last three games. She is solid value for her price, especially in the FanDuel format where her price is relatively lower than in DraftKings.

Bria Hartley, NY at ATL ($4500 FD, $5900): Hartley has averaged 15.3 points, 3.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds in her last three games, in which her minutes have been up in the 27 per game area. She’s a risk because she hasn’t’ played at this level all season, but her recent play suggests that this could be her legitimate level.
