INJURY UPDATE: Pondexter out against Storm

The Chicago Sky will face Seattle in their last game before the All-Star break without former All-Star Cappie Pondexter. The veteran guard suffered an injury against the San Antonio Stars on June 30.
Pondexter (Concussion Protocol) will not play in tonight’s game vs. the Seattle Storm. She will be upgraded to probable for 7/20 vs. LA

Chicago is 3-1 since Pondexter’s injury. The Sky currently sit sixth in the Eastern Conference and 11th overall. The top eight teams will make the postseason under the new playoff format.
