The San Antonio Stars won again, the Chicago Sky are on a winning streak and we are getting dunks on a weekly basis now. What is going on?

Whatever it is, it’s fun and last night’s game between Connecticut and Los Angeles continued to display that. Jumping out to a 32-18 lead after the first quarter, it looked like the Sun were going to run away with the game until L.A. responded with back-to-back quarters in which they outscored Connecticut by 27 points.

More from Chicago Sky

The Sparks were lead by, surprise, Nneka Ogwumike and her 29 points while Candace Parker had 20. Chelsea Gray has also made it evident that we might as well get to used to this version of herself as she scored 17 and looks to have made a huge leap in her third WNBA season.

There are three games tonight and as the season has taken shape the biggest lesson we’ve learned is this: you probably shouldn’t bet on the WNBA. If you do and you’ve followed my advice, congratulations! You’re sitting at a cool $0 earned or lost this season. You’re welcome.
