Injury Report: Moriah Jefferson enters concussion protocol, Aneika Morello and Sancho Lyttle out for Dream
San Antonio Stars guard Moriah Jefferson has entered concussion protocol and will not play in Friday night’s game against the Mercury, the team has announced.
Jefferson suffered a head injury on Wednesday in San Antonio’s 89-56 loss to the Connecticut Sun. She played just 18 minutes, scoring six points in the first half before a hit to the head forced her to leave the game.
Jefferson’s absence should mean more playing time for 2017’s top overall pick Kelsey Plum, who scored a career-high 11 points, most coming after Jefferson’s injury on Wednesday night.
The Stars say they will provide further updates on her condition as they are known.

The Dream said Lyttle will be upgraded to probable for Sunday’s game at home against the Wings in Atlanta.
