West guard: Sue Bird, Seattle Storm

Last year, Sue Bird found her mid-career level of play, posting the best true shooting percentage since 2004 and the most accurate three-point shooting season of her career. And yet, as she approaches her 37th birthday in October, Bird is even better so far in 2017, shooting better than 40 percent from three again and leading the league in assist percentage at 41. Reached for comment, the portrait of Dorian Gray said of Bird, “I wonder how she does it!”
