East frontcourt: Jonquel Jones, Connecticut Sun
Nobody has done more to prove herself so far this season than Jones, who is having a monster year for the surprising Sun. Every bit of the promise she showed in her rookie season has blossomed with a far bigger role, Jones showing herself capable of playing as the top option for a playoff contending team. She’s easily leading the WNBA in total rebounding percentage, hitting more than half of her threes, rim protecting and scoring in a variety of ways. She is an impossible matchup for nearly all defenders.
