It’s unfair to judge this team without Emma Meesseman, who will be back later this month after her overseas commitment concludes, and Elena Delle Donne, who missed the showdown with the Lynx Friday night. This team is still not scoring as effectively as expected so far this season, despite getting plenty of open looks thanks to next-level spacing, and is just eighth in the league in defensive efficiency. It also feels like a mistake to believe Mike Thibault won’t figure it out by September.
