The league took the game off from games yesterday, and one can only assume it was in honor of our first perfect day here at The Money Line (4-0). All jokes aside, Tuesday’s games took us down a different road than we maybe expected, but we still arrived at the same destination.

Atlanta continued their streak of holding team’s below 80 points to five straight games, but their offense let them down in a 76-61 loss to the Liberty.

As for the other game, I expected Phoenix to win by around 10 points over the Fever, and that is exactly what they did in a 98-90 win. What I didn’t expect was for that game to go to overtime and Brittney Griner to have another career scoring night (38 points on 15-of-19 shooting).

We now turn our attention to tonight with two marque teams squaring off, but possibly without one of the key players.
