There are three games on the schedule on Friday night: the Storm are at the Fever at 7 PM ET, the Lynx at the Mystics at the same time, and then an hour later the Sparks are at the Wings. Please find preview information for all three games, here. The three games on the night is a fairly full schedule for the WNBA, so let’s take a look at some of the good options at different price points that are going on Friday.
Guard
Skylar Diggins-Smith, DAL vs LAL ($6900): Diggins is the highest priced guard on Friday, but here production level is a step down from the best of the forwards. That said, her price tag is also more in what would be considered “mid-range” for forwards, and her production has been top-notch of late. She has averaged 20 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds with 1.0 steals in her last three games.
Jewell Loyd, SEA at IND ($6400): Lloyd has already faced Indiana twice this season, and has had strong games each time. She scored 13 points with five assists, two boards and two steals on May 28, after exploding for her best game of the season with 27 points, seven boards, three assists and a steal just under a month ago.
Shenise Johnson, IND vs SEA ($4800): Johnson played only 12 minutes the last time that she faced Seattle, then had to miss the next couple of games injured. But she did return for 22.1 fantasy points on Wednesday. Also, the first time she faced Seattle she had her best game of the season with 24 points, eight boards, four assists and three steals.
Forward
Elena Delle Donne, WAS vs MIN ($8300): Delle Donne is a bit of a risk, because she is listed as questionable due to a groin injury. With that said, she’s been a human torch of late. She has scored between 41 and 45 fantasy points in three straight games, and is playing her best ball of the season. If word comes down that Delle Donne will sit, Nneka Ogwumike ($8100) has also come on strong of late and would be worthy in this slot.
Glory Johnson, DAL vs LA ($5600): Johnson has had back-to-back huge games, scoring a total of 41 points with 21 rebounds in that stretch. The Sparks have not been strong on the road, so if Johnson stays hot she has a solid chance to outperform her price tag.
Alysha Clark, SEA at IND ($4400): Clark has had her shot working the last three games, averaging 18.3 points, two boards and an assist in that stretch. She’s a bit one dimensional, but she seems to be gaining some consistency as an impact scorer for Seattle.
