Mercury center Brittney Griner had the game of her career on Wednesday, scoring 38 points to go with nine rebounds in Phoenix’s 98-90 overtime win over the Fever.
Her scoring total was a personal best, surpassing the 32-point performance she put on in the second game of the season, also against Indiana.
Griner scored her 38 on an astounding 15-19 shooting and an 8-10 mark from the line. She played 39 minutes before eventually fouling out. Here’s a sampling of her hot hand on Wednesday, courtesy of WNBA.com:
