NEW YORK—Good injury news for the Los Angeles Sparks: coach Brian Agler told The Summitt that he expects guard Odyssey Sims to resume practicing when the team returns home from its current road trip.
The Sparks haven’t missed a beat offensively, entering the night with the league’s best offensive rating. Still, the return of Sims will only strengthen a guard group that includes breakout point guard Chelsea Gray, gunner Riquna Williams, rookie sensation Sydney Wiese and the league’s best perimeter defender, Alana Beard.
Sims has some practice time to work back into rhythm. Los Angeles returns home to face the Chicago Sky next, but not until June 6.
