Another day, another tough loss for us here on The Money Line. With Kelsey Plum making her first career appearance (although playing just 12 minutes), what I thought would happen seemed to play out over the first 32 minutes or so: the San Antonio Stars played with great energy at home while shooting a sky-high percentage. Then, suddenly, the wheels fell off and the Dallas Wings pulled away to win 94-82 after outscoring the Stars 33-13 in the fourth quarter. Ouch.
As anyone with experience picking sports knows, there are hot and cold streaks, so here is hoping we get onto the former starting today.
