The Indiana Fever waived three players on Wednesday as training camp wears on and the final roster begins to take shape.

Shanece McKinney, Adrienne Motley, and Ronni Williams were all cut, leaving 14 players remaining for 12 roster spots.

McKinney, a 6’4 forward from LSU, last played in the WNBA for the New York Liberty in 2014, when she appeared in 24 games, averaging 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest. Most recently, she posted 11.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game for the Samsung Life Blue Minx in South Korea.

Williams and Motley are both new to the professional ranks. Williams, a former Florida Gator, was the Fever’s second-round selection in the WNBA Draft, going 22nd overall. Indiana took Motley out of Miami 10 picks later in the third round.

The Fever will play one more exhibition game at Dallas on Saturday. From there, it’s just over a week before they tip off the regular season in Seattle on May 14.

The San Antonio Stars waived center Adut Bulgak to whittle their training camp roster to 20.

Bulgak played in seven games for the Liberty last year, scoring 14 total points. The Florida State grad earned second-team all-ACC honors as a senior in 2016 and was taken 12th overall by the Liberty in the subsequent WNBA Draft.

The Stars open their season May 13 in New York.
