REBEKKAH BRUNSON

Should the Lynx win another title with Rebekkah Brunson on board, it would be an historical achievement. No WNBA player has won five championships in her career, but there is another milestone Brunson can achieve this season. She’s 14 rebounds away from 3,000, and when she gets there, she will be the fifth player in WNBA history to pass that milestone.

“That exciting to know. I can only hope that we win with that rebound,” Brunson said. “I’m going to continue to go out and do what I can to help this team win.”

The 35-year-old forward was touched to hear that a fifth championship is motivating her teammates. As bad as she wants it, she’s also playing for comrades.

“I want to see this team continue to build the legacy that we have going,” she said.
