Atlanta Dream

PICKS

Round 1, Pick 7 Brittney Sykes, G, Syracuse

Round 2, Pick 7 Jordan Reynolds, G, Tennessee

Round 3, Pick 7 Oderah Chidom, F, Duke

The Dream got a really good one in Sykes, a versatile guard who defends extremely well and shot the three at a better than 39 percent clip as a senior. Sykes has a very high basketball IQ, and she has a chance to be an important part of what the Dream do immediately, especially with Angel McCoughtry set to miss at least part of the 2017 season to rest and recover. Reynolds is a superb athlete the Dream are hoping can do more when not asked to run an offense as she was forced to at Tennessee. Chidom is more of a project, but her 10.4 block percentage suggests a potential rim protector role at the next level.
