The WNBA experienced what many believe was the best finals in the history of the league, won by the Los Angeles Sparks over the Minnesota Lynx in five closely-fought games.

In a new ad released Thursday, that thrilling conclusion is the starting point for the offseason workouts of Maya Moore, Breanna Stewart, Sue Bird and Elena Delle Donne.

Three of the players watch the final moments on their phones, a surprising choice given the access all have to televisions, but also an implicit reminder that WNBA League Pass is effortlessly portable. Then the four players get to work at improving for the upcoming season.

For Moore, whose response to each of her WNBA seasons without a championship has been to win a championship, the ad seems to indicate she’s watching on replay, since she was in the actual game and even Moore, capable of almost anything, cannot be in two places at once.

Stewart and Bird, who led the Seattle Storm to the playoffs in Stewart’s rookie year, have their sights set on a title as well. And Delle Donne, now of the widely-declared super team in Washington, pushed for a trade to give herself a better chance at a title herself, she said.

Watch them all prepare in the first of three new ‘Watch Me Work’ spots the league will be rolling out throughout the season.
