With the sixth pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft, the Washington Mystics selected Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, sharpshooting wing out of Maryland.

SWK, as she is known, is a drop-dead shooter from deep, at 54 percent last season, 46 percent for her career. She’s also a slasher capable of guarding twos and threes, and makes sense as part of a Washington team where everyone, including the ball boys, can stroke it from deep.

Walker-Kimbrough has a chance to play right away, even on a deep Mystics team, offering yet another challenge for opposing defenses.
