South Carolina standout and 2017 WNBA Draft prospect Allisha Gray has agreed to be represented by Sports International Group, sources familiar with the situation confirmed to The Summitt.

Gray, who is projected by The Summitt to be chosen fourth in Thursday night’s WNBA Draft, chose to renounce her eligibility and enter the draft following South Carolina’s 2017 NCAA title.

Gray will be represented by Ticha Penicheiro and Boris Lelchitski as she embarks upon her professional career.

“Allisha is coming off a great NCAA tournament where she helped South Carolina win a championship, with a lot of grit and perseverance,” Penicheiro told The Summitt. “Her versatility will translate great into the pro level. A tough, strong guard that can play multiple positions as well as guard multiple positions. We are thrilled that she chose SIG for her representation as we feel that she will be a great pro, on and off the court!”

Gray scored 18 points, added 10 rebounds and three blocks in the championship game, a 67-55 win over Mississippi State. For the season, Gray shot 61.1 percent from two, 32.1 percent from three, while posting an assist percentage of nearly 17 percent and grading out as one of the Gamecocks’ best defenders, per Synergy.

Gray and nine other top prospects will be on hand Thursday night at the 2017 WNBA Draft. The draft can be seen on ESPN2 starting at 7 PM EST.
