JACKIE POWELL: With the 12th pick in the 2020 WNBA draft, the New York Liberty have selected  Jazmine Jones from the University of Louisville. While Jones will need to continue to work on her shot from long, her defense is what the New York Liberty will value. She’s someone who fits the New York’s psychological profile as she’s known to be a strong locker room presence. Also, she’ll be reunited with New York’s 2019 first round draft pick Asia Durr, another Louisville alumna.
