Third Round

Davion Wingate, daughter of Georgetown and NBA role player David Wingate, brings her father’s defensive intensity to the table. But she’s also made herself into an elite offensive option for teams drafting late, completing her second straight season with three-point accuracy north of 40 percent, and elevating her finishing from a weakness to a strength. A year ago, she shot 42.9 percent from two, and 63.6 percent from the free throw line. This season? 59 and 81.9 percent, respectively. She played in a pro-style offense for Karl Smesko at FGCU. This is not a prospect to overlook, even at 5’6.
