#4 – Creighton

Preseason predicted ranking: 4th
BIG EAST 2018-19 Record: 8-10
2018-19 Overall Record: 15-16

Key returners: Forward Jaylyn Agnew returns after receiving her undergraduate degree and again represents the Bluejays on the Preseason All-BIG EAST team. Temi Carda is the only returning player who averaged double-digit points per game (alongside Agnew and Faber from last season).

Newcomers: Kansas-native Carly Bachelor joins the program and will have likely work behind Agnew. She averaged over 1700 points and 900 rebounds at Washburn Rural High School.

Head coach: Jim Flannery enters his 18th season at Creighton where he has amassed a .598 winning percentage. The Bluejays have reached 14 postseason tournaments (including the NCAA Tournament four times) during his tenure. Flannery reached the WNIT Final Four in 2003 and won the tournament the next year. In 2017, he led Creighton to a regular season title.

Outlook: Despite missing the postseason for the first time since 2007, Creighton is seen as a contender by the BIG EAST coaches. Despite a sub-.500 finish overall and in conference play, the Bluejays have the eye of other BIG EAST coaches.
