Vanessa DeJesus

The Valencia, California native is currently the 57th-ranked player in the 2020 class.  DeJesus is a strong-willed point guard that can hurt the defense in many different ways. She is a willing passer, has the handle to break down her defender one-on-one, while also utilizing the pick-and-roll effectively.  At times, she can score at will, and what’s most noticeable about her, is her ability to score in a variety of ways.  Whether it’s finishing at the rim, shooting the mid-range jump shot, the step-back, or knocking down the three, she is a creative scorer and extremely fun to watch.  She makes the game look simple with the demeanor and confidence in which she plays. DeJesus plays AAU for the Cal Storm and is currently considering Columbia, Washington, and Gonzaga, and that list could expand.
