9. DeWanna Bonner

Quietly, alongside Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi’s pyrotechnics, DeWanna Bonner continues to perform like one of the league’s best players. She help carry the Mercury within an eyelash of the WNBA Finals in 2018, and in 2019 so far, she’s been even better, posting the best shooting efficiency numbers of her career even as she’s been asked to ramp up her overall offensive load. Nor has it come at the expense of her passing out of point-forward possessions she often starts herself with an elevated defensive rebounding ability. If you were to design the perfect player to complement what Taurasi and Griner bring on the perimeter and in the paint, you’d end up with someone just like the player Bonner has developed into, and at age 31, it’s easy to imagine this new peak lasting quite a while.
