Bill Laimbeer (Las Vegas Aces)

Overall Record: 243-190 (433 games coached)

Record in Las Vegas: 14-19 (33 games coached)

Bill Laimbeer and the Las Vegas Aces are in their second year and looking to make history this summer, and Laimbeer can make history himself this summer.

After taking over for the relocated Aces in Las Vegas last year, he became the fifth coach to lead at least three different teams. He is also top 4 in both wins and games coached. As mentioned previously, he is also tied with Cheryl Reeve with seven 20-win seasons.

Each of the coaches ahead of him on the wins and games coached leader boards are still active in the league (and still to come in this summary), so he won’t be passing them up this season, but there are a couple of big milestones in view in 2019.

His 17th game will make Laimbeer the fourth coach with 450 games coached. (If you want to credit last year’s Aces forfeit to Laimbeer, move that up one game.) Game 17 for the Aces is on July 13 in Washington, D.C. He is also just seven wins from his 250th in the WNBA.
