1. Las Vegas Aces: Asia Durr, 5’10 G, Louisville

Late word on Las Vegas is consistent: despite Bill Laimbeer’s preferences for going big in general, the Aces like Asia Durr too much to pass up a chance to get her. There’s plenty of reasons she will fit in Vegas — she’s an excellent three-point shooter, 34.5 percent in 2018-19 after two straight campaigns north of 40 percent, a desperately-needed skill for the WNBA team that got its fewest points, percentage-wise, from three of anyone in the league. She creates her own shot, can find teammates (20.6 assist percentage), does not turn the ball over (8.7 percent), and has turned herself into a plus defender. Jeff Walz spoke delightedly about how easy she was to coach, the effort just never stops. The league loves her mental/emotional makeup, too. There is a lot of top-end talent, but Vegas embraces the new-look WNBA and takes a guard here.
