7. Los Angeles Sparks: Kristine Anigwe, 6’4 F, California

Her season ended against Baylor Monday night, but Anigwe has made believers of most of the league’s talent evaluators at this point, and the massive rebounding numbers and strong finish mitigate against the lone worry, which is her below-average assist numbers. I’d point out, however, the 4-for-17 from the field against Baylor, just five rebounds. I remain concerned that a lot of her overwhelming production came from a physical edge she won’t have at the next level. Then again, is you’re the Sparks, you can find out, especially on a rookie deal that helps their cap situation, and likely in few minutes, especially if they find a way to land Liz Cambage. It would be a sign Jantel Lavender’s days in L.A. are numbered, of course.
