Eugene:

1. Oregon (Pac-12)
16. Southern (SWAC)

8. West Virginia
9. Indiana

Spokane:

5. Syracuse
12. Quinnipiac (MAAC)

4. Gonzaga (West Coast)
13. Belmont (Ohio Valley)

Gonzaga dropped two spots on the true seed line, but its loss to BYU has not costed the Bulldogs a seed line and hosting opportunity. Yet. It helps that the Cougars have a credible argument to be in the field themselves —‚ they’re the first team out today, but I would not fight with anyone who has them included. Neither team has a chance for a real resume booster remaining in the regular season, so how many bids the WCC gets could come down to the conference tournament.

Iowa City:

6. Kentucky
11. Rice (Conference USA)

3. Iowa
14. Stephen F. Austin (Southland)

Raleigh:

7. Central Michigan
10. UCLA

2. NC State
15. FGCU (ASUN)

We’re about to find out if NC State is a legit 2 seed or closer to a 3 or 4. Any ACC team that starts 22-3 is worthy of praise, but the Wolfpack have missed some big opportunities to solidify their standing. After what should be a win Thursday against Wake Forest, NC State closes the regular season at North Carolina, at Louisville, and at home against Miami.
