11. Atlanta Dream: Sophie Cunningham, 6’1 G/F, Missouri

It’s hard to find something the Atlanta Dream need, exactly — next year’s lineup is set, there’s ample talent off the bench with bigs like Imani McGee-Stafford, criminally underrated Brittney Sykes and volume shooter Alex Bentley — but Sophie Cunningham is very much a Nicki Collen-type player, from her bottomless supply of intensity to her ability to shoot it from anywhere, plus passing, and even the ability to post up on a mismatch off a switch. Cunningham can play anywhere 1-4 on the floor, and that dovetails with the way Collen operates her rotations. She’s been on a tear of late from three, elevating her percentage from deep north of 40 percent. And she’s a rare rookie you wouldn’t mind having the ball late in games.
