Storrs:

1. Connecticut (AAC)
16. Mount St. Mary’s (NEC)

8. Texas
9. Texas A&M

Milwaukee:

5. Indiana
12. Maine (America East)

4. Marquette (Big East)
13. Belmont (OVC)

OK, Marquette, we get it. You’re good. The Golden Eagles showed no mercy against a good DePaul team this week and are set up perfectly moving forward in the Big East. Their only losses are out-of-conference to top-25 RPI teams, while wins over South Dakota State, Michigan, and Green Bay remain solid. It’ll get a whole lot more interesting if they win at Villanova on Friday.

Syracuse:

6. Michigan State
11. Butler

3. Syracuse
14. Old Dominion (CUSA)

Starkville:

7. Virginia Tech
10. Colorado

2. Mississippi State (SEC)
15. Radford (Big South)

The Old Dominion men have already won at the Carrier Dome this year. Can the women do the same? More interestingly, we welcome Butler to the field as an 11 seed and frankly, that may be too low for a team with only one loss and an RPI of 17. The Bulldogs are 4-0 in the Big East but beat nobody of note out-of-conference, so this is where they play catchup.
