The Money Line: NCAAW spreads, odds and predictions for Dec. 9
A busy day for betting on women’s hoops.
Just a few months ago, the U.S. Supreme Court made a landmark decision to allow states to legalize sports betting if they wanted, something that had many people cheering. As of now, it is completely legal to bet on sports in Delaware, Nevada, New Jersey, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and West Virginia. While women’s basketball is still not represented in the same way men’s basketball is (most sportsbooks will allow you to take a future bet, so picking Notre Dame or UConn or whoever to win the national championship, but not day-to-day bets).
Lines are available through other sites, however, and for the purpose of this column, I will be using lines exclusively through 5 Dimes. Please know that I encourage you to only gamble if you do so legally and responsibly and that I myself do not gamble. I will pick these games as if I were putting real money on it though, so know I put thought into them all. I will only list the over/under for games that I plan on picking that as well.
Okay, let’s get to the games.
