2. Kristine Anigwe – Cal

Cal may not be as talented or may not have gotten as far in the tournament as the elite teams in the Pac-12, but they have arguably the most WNBA ready player in Kristine Anigwe.

Anigwe made an immediate impact as a freshman back in 2015 and has improved each season she’s been at Cal. She comes into this season as a candidate for both the Wooden Award and the Lisa Leslie Award for the nation’s best center.

So far, she’s had probably the best start out of anyone in the Pac-12. She was recently named espnW’s Player of the Week. She put up 37 points and 13 rebounds in the Golden Bears opening night win over Houston. She followed that up with 24 points and 22 rebounds in a win over Penn State.

It’s going to be tough for the Bears to crack the top 3 of Oregon, Stanford, and Oregon State, but behind Anigwe, they have a fighter’s chance.
