Preceding the top-5 faceoff is the conference-opening Duke at North Carolina State game.  The No. 16 Wolfpack will host the No. 20 Blue Devils on January 3 at 7 pm ET. Both teams have lost major players due to graduation. N.C. State returns a strong backcourt with Kaila Ealey, Kiara Leslie and Aislinn Konig. Duke can matchup with guard play, with Mikala Boykin and Kyra Lambert back in the lineup-both coming off of knee injuries.
