3. Indiana Fever: Kalani Brown, 6’7 C, Baylor

While McCowan is a strong fit for New York, it is easy to see Brown succeeding wildly in Indiana, where Pokey Chatman could use some interior skill to complement young gunners Kelsey Mitchell and Victoria Vivians on a Fever team that finished eleventh in points in the paint and ninth in team defense. Kayla Alexander is back already for 2019, and Natalie Achonwa, a free agent, expressed interest in returning. But both of them could function alongside a true five in Brown, whose ability to stretch the floor is both improving and likely underrated due to playing alongside Lauren Cox, making it less vital that she do so on her current team.
