“Being able to play multiple positions is something I’ve done all my life,” –Candace Parker

If Parker’s game does not ring a bell, allow me to share with you some of my favorite moments from this season, alone.

In the victory against the Aces, Parker covered both ends of the floor. When she’s on, she’s unstoppable.

Parker is known for her assists.  It’s especially exciting to watch the obvious chemistry between her and point guard Chelsea Gray. But, she certainly does not reserve those dimes for one person; she finds her teammates in the most unique positions and deliver seamless passes. Her signature one-arm launch to wherever she sees fit is almost always automatic.

In Parker’s career, she averages 3.9 assists per game, but in the 2018 season, she’s averaging 4.6 apg. The rest of her statistics remain consistent with her career average, including her 17.6 points per game this year. When asked how she takes care of her body so well, Parker attributes her preservation to having “a great trainer, great rehab people, and [overall just learning] how to take time to take care of [her] body.”
