Many are starting to question if Wings head coach Fred Williams is the right coach for the team. The team continues to falter in the clutch during the second half. The Wings are sitting at #8 in the WNBA standings and are expected to make the playoffs. That’s saying a lot considering the parity of the league this season, the Wings are only 3 games out of the top spot.

Liz Cambage went down in the in the first quarter with a eye injury. She was briefly out, returning in the second quarter. Cambage scored her 1000th career point in the second quarter. She wouldn’t return in the second half due to her eye injury; finished with 14 points.
