Win Number 25: 92-67 over the Seattle Storm, July 29, 2011

The Lynx won their fifth straight, taking the Western Conference lead, behind a team effort on the scoring front. Seimone Augustus registered 18 points, Candice Wiggins added 16, and rookie Maya Moore scored 12. Lindsay Whalen held opposing point guard Sue Bird to just four points.

Those inside the Minnesota locker room sounded like they knew what was coming. “I think there’s a lot more ahead,” Augustus said after the game, while Reeve said this: “I think there’s a lot of good basketball left. It’s fun. We’re 12-4. Bottom line is we haven’t done anything yet. I think this group knows that more than any other group I’ve been a part of.”
