Whalen just completed an offseason where she participated in Minnesota Timberwolves broadcasts and worked for the Big Ten Network as well. She also accepted an ambitious new challenge: head coach at her alma mater, University of Minnesota, while performing the “Dawn Staley”: continuing her playing career, the stellar, vital work she does at point guard for the Minnesota Lynx.
