2018 WNBA Draft Big Board v. 4.0: Trade aftermath
11. Los Angeles Sparks: Stephanie Mavunga 6’3 F/C Ohio State
Brian Agler’s backcourt just got even more crowded, with the addition of Cappie Pondexter, so expect him to beef up his frontcourt with Mavunga, who does a number of things Agler values. She followed a top-3 finish in rebound rate nationally last year with another strong rebound percentage of 19.7 this year, doing at at both ends, while elevating her shooting efficiency above 60 percent from two and cutting her turnover percentage dramatically (16.9 percent last year, 11.2 percent this year). These are plus skills that can help in a rotation immediately.
