8. Phoenix Mercury: Lexie Brown, 5’9 G Duke

The 5’9 Brown has a WNBA frame, shoots the three extremely well, and ranks fourth in the country with a 5.4 steal percentage. But notice also her durability. She’s played at least 36 minutes in 11 of the past 12 games, only getting a reprieve in a blowout win over Boston College. So she is performing at this level through tired legs, another sign of how ready she is for the physical exertion of the next floor up.
