Starkville:

1. Mississippi State (SEC)
16. Bethune-Cookman (MEAC)

8. Oregon State
9. South Florida

So how about those Bulldogs? They outscored South Carolina 28-9 in the fourth quarter on Monday to come back, win, and stay undefeated. There’s no question they are the class of the SEC, and with only one more game against a ranked opponent, stand a good shot of being undefeated by the start of the SEC Tournament.

Green Bay:

4. Green Bay (Horizon)
13. Gonzaga (WCC)

5. Duke
12. Belmont (Ohio Valley)

I initially thought it’d be tough for the Phoenix to climb above the 5 line, but some losses from teams above them (ahem, Mizzou and Michigan) forced my hand. The Phoenix have done everything you could ask of them, winning 11 out of 12 in the Horizon and picking up nine wins against top-100 RPI teams. Not convinced? Ask Marquette and Arizona State how good Green Bay is.
