Louisville:

1. Louisville (ACC)
16. Southern (SWAC)

8. California
9. South Florida

The Cardinals suffered their first loss of the season this week, 50-49 to Florida State. But that shouldn’t take away from what they’ve accomplished so far, including wins over Notre Dame, Oregon, and Ohio State. South Florida moves down a line this week after an awful loss at Wichita State.

College Station:

4. Texas A&M
13. Gonzaga (WCC)

5. Rutgers
12. Central Michigan (MAC)

I’m 52 percent sure that Rutgers lost three out of four is because Howard and I decided to road trip to Piscataway if the Scarlet Knights were awarded a pod. That’s one way to keep us out. College Station would be fun too, but it’s probably just a touch too far for us. The Aggies have a game at Tennessee looming on Feb. 1.
