13. Monique Currie
2017 notable stats: 17.2 PER, 39.8 percent from three, 18.3 assist percentage
Projected 2018 role: Big minutes at the wing
Monique Currie will turn 35 before the 2018 WNBA season begins, but she shows no signs of slowing down. Her true shooting percentage of 56.3 rated highest of her career since 2007, and after doing a bit of everything early on for the injury-ravaged San Antonio Stars (and fighting with Brittany Boyd), she worked her way into the starting lineup for a Phoenix Mercury team that reached the WNBA semifinals. Per Synergy, her defensive Points Per Possession rated 12th in the entire league. It was a remarkable season.
