Question 5: If you were forced to only watch one game this week, which game would it be?

Robinson- Florida State vs Texas. I want to know if Florida State can challenge for an ACC title despite losing so much talent and experience from last season. I also want to know if what we saw from Texas on Sunday at Tennessee was just a tough night on the job.

Megdal-  It might even be the game of the year. Oregon against Mississippi State is fun for so many reasons. There’s Kelly Graves vs. Vic Schaefer. There’s watching Morgan William match up with Sabrina Ionescu. There’s Ruthy Hebard vs. Teaira McCowan. There’s the potential for a Victoria ViviansLexi Bando shooting contest. Florida State-Texas this weekend will be a treat, but man am I excited about Ducks v. Dawgs.

DuDonis- Oregon at Mississippi State. I will be attending the game and couldn’t be more excited. Howard highlighted much of what there is to look forward to, but I don’t think the importance of this game can be overstated. I’m actually on the record as thinking that Oregon is still a year away from being a bonafide Final Four contender (I think last year they got really hot at the right time. Don’t forget, they finished 6th in the PAC-12 last season with a 8-10 record). That said, I think they are one of the most dangerous team’s in the country and, on any given night, can beat anyone else.

Meanwhile Mississippi State owns two solid wins over Green Bay and Oklahoma State, but the Ducks offense is something they haven’t seen the likes of in a long time. Will Oregon’s beautiful offense and outside shooting ability be able to operate with the pressure defense played by Mississippi State? Can the Bulldogs keep playing efficient offense and stay disciplined when Oregon starts hitting shots? I have no clue what the outcome of this game will be, but I can’t wait to watch it happen.
