Last year’s record: 21-11, 9-7 B1G

Key Returns:

Teniya Page: 19.9 PPG, USA Basketball U23 Training Camp, WBCA All-American Honorable Mention, All-Big Ten First team

Key Non-Conference games:

Wake Forest: 11/30

Penn State surprised many in the Big Ten, and reached the WNIT’s third round. It would be the first time in three years that Penn State made the postseason. With the departure of Lindsey Spann, it leaves a young team that will get a lot of minutes this upcoming season. Although Teniya Page is their best option, she will be not ready for the start of the season. Her injury in the U23 Training Camp is a tough blow for them, as she finished fifth in scoring in the Big Ten last season. There is no clear timetable when she will be back, however should not stop the Lions from building from the momentum they had this past season.
