SEC Preview: South Carolina, Mississippi State, Tennessee and much more
Though widely considered to be one of the most consistently successful conferences in the country, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone who expected that two SEC schools would be playing for the national championship last season. That is exactly what happened, however, as South Carolina topped Mississippi State 67-55 to win their first ever national championship. While both of those teams lost key pieces, they still figure to be fighting for the SEC crown this season. Beyond them, you could make a case for eight or nine other teams that could make the NCAA tournament this season. While the order can easily be disputed, this is how we see the SEC shaking out.
