Because I see that trade, but my goodness Jas Thomas was good this season. Courtney Williams is a monster. And so Plum is what, splitting time with Alex Bentley?

CT’s issue, and this is a good one, is they don’t really have any needs, per se.

Erica: Also, doesn’t help if they are hoping to win now. Experience matters a great deal in the WNBA

Lindsay: I think CT needs to somehow add a vet who has won big games — get that championship experience in the door, like Erica said. But I have no idea how they do that.

Howard: I agree that experience helps but here’s my trade, and it’s a 1-for-1: Jewell Loyd to CT for Chiney.

Chiney is the 5 Seattle needs.

Jewell in Curt Miller’s system is going to be insane.

Brian: no trades, probably until they settle on a coach

Blake: Commenting before I answer your question Howard, but I wouldn’t trade Loyd for Chiney if I’m Seattle

Howard: Chiney and a pick?

Blake: All-Star guard who has improved every season for a player who has been forced to sit out two full seasons at the start of her career for injuries? No thanks… give me this year’s pick too and I’m interested, yes.

Lindsay: Seattle likes to keep talented 5s on the bench, though. It’s kind-of their thing.

Hopefully New Coach can help that.

Howard: Other argument: Chiney, when she has played, has been star-level and legit two-way player

You add her and Breanna Stewart has a chance to do a lot more that doesn’t wear her down

Lindsay: Chiney and a pick for Lloyd is intriguing

Howard: Whitcomb can start at 2 spot because you need a shooter there more than a shot creator

Blake: I am admittedly and openly one who is super fearful of injury prone players.

Howard: No, I am as well, it’s a concern

Blake: This year’s draft is SO good that I’m willing to consider that

Howard: But there’s a lot to love about Chiney’s game, and it is a relative rarity in the league

Any other trade offers for Chiney?
